Ed Pettus is proud to be a native son of Charlotte, North Carolina.  He is a former Marine who has proudly served his country for 8 years in various hot spots, including Iraq.  The harsh realities of war contrast with his calming, inspirational landscapes.  These visions are what kept the balance in his life, while dealing with daily insensitivities. 

Ed stays true to traditional methods in painting in both concept and technique.  He infuses his art with inspiration and peace.

He currently resides in Charlotte with his wife Cathy.
